The flagship Phase One IQ3 100mp comes fully loaded with cutting edge features like built in wireless remote control/review/editing, customizable clipping indicator, long exposure calculator, and comes with a five year warranty that includes a loaner during any service.

The Phase One IQ1 100mp has the same great sensor and image quality as the IQ3 100mp, but eschews some features and package inclusions (e.g. no rolling hard case) in pursuit of a lower cost of entry, and widening the range of our 100mp offerings.

Shoot Clean from 50 - 12800 ISO

By combining new sensor technology and years of experience in noise suppression through Capture One software, the Phase One XF 100MP ISO range delivers unparalleled creative freedom and performance in all shooting conditions. With a previously unthinkable base ISO of 50, the Phase One XF 100MP delivers the flexibility of longer exposures and unrestricted use of fast lenses, all while providing the cleanest possible results. Expanding on CMOS technology, the XF 100MP can offer higher ISO versatility and, with Capture One software, retain excellent noise suppression and file rendering.

60 minute exposures

The XF 100MP system is a terrific camera for producing fine art photography. The combination of a full 100MP image, plus 60 minutes of exposure time, and the low noise and wide dynamic range inherent in our CMOS sensor creates images that are simply stunning.

Electronic First Curtain Shutter

The addition of “Electronic First Curtain Shutter” to the XF 100MP Camera System means a further reduction in adverse vibration effects on high-resolution images. The benefit of EFCS is a significant reduction in camera vibration as it allows less mechanical dependency, which greatly improves sharpness when using shutter speeds that demand the steadiest conditions. The EFCS is worry free as it automatically activates when using Vibration Delay or activating Mirror Up.

Joint sensor development and optimization

Phase One and Sony have been development partners for years, the 50MP sensor being the first milestone of our cooperation, now found in the XF IQ3 50MP. Creating the full frame sibling to the 50MP CMOS system has been a top priority of Phase One for years. Phase One sensor experts have been working hard to optimize the complete use of the 100MP sensor for the worlds most demanding photographers.

HAP-1 is designed from the ground up with a custom processor coupled with a dedicated high-resolution CMOS sensor. This combination creates a unique floating-point architecture and a fully programmable interface, HAP-1 is easy to expand, update and customize. Perfect focus – with a single touch

With the large, high-resolution touch screen of the XF 100MP Camera System, Live View can be displayed in all its beauty directly on the system. Double-tap on the display to zoom to 100% and adjust focus with immediate visual feedback. With the Phase One XF 100MP Camera System it is easy to achieve perfect focus, even in the most demanding conditions.

Output via Wi-fi, USB and now HDMI

One distinct advantage of the 100MP camera system is the improvement in live view capabilities associated with the CMOS image sensor. Both Phase One IQ backs feature USB for tethering and HDMI for attaching an external HD video monitor. The IQ3 series also features built-in Wi-Fi allowing the user to monitor wirelessly directly to an IOS device using our Capture Pilot software. Capture Pilot also works with the IQ1 series, but only when tethering and broadcasting the Wi-Fi from the tethered computer.

100 Glorious Megapixels

IQ3 and IQ1 resolutions of 50MP, 60MP, 80MP and now the new 100MP not only deliver incredible detail, but also provides creative flexibility, accommodating virtually any application requirement, be it print or digital.

Wireless Built-In

Wireless communication is an integrated part of the IQ3 Digital Back range allowing you to connect an iPad or iPhone wirelessly and use Capture Pilot (downloadable in the app store) for Live View, exposure control, shutter release and instantly check focus or compose on a larger screen.

The larger display of an iPad can make it easier to view composition and focus. Use it yourself or simply give it to the client when working on set; they can get involved, check and rate images from afar and you can make sure your clients get what they want and keep coming back.

The IQ1 series lacks the built-in Wi-Fi to connect directly to an IOS device via a wireless link. However, a tethered IQ1 series back can still be monitored with Capture Pilot by broadcasting the Wi-Fi signal from the tethered computer.

CMOS sensor technology allows for an unmatched Live View experience. With the IQ3 50MP, and now the IQ3 and IQ1 100MP, Live View is greatly improved with the ability to capture during Live View operation. Whether you are using Live View on the digital back itself or through Capture One Pro, a simple click of the shutter will capture your image at full resolution just as you are seeing it in real-time. Once the image is captured, you’ll seamlessly return to live view to continue your required workflow.
