Digital Transitions Technical Support Specialist – Part Time

As the Technical Support Specialist for our Digital Transitions New York team you will be responsible for offering professional one on one technical supports to our clients and the sales team, equipment testing, updating internal and external RMA and Support Case systems, on-site installations and trainings.

This is a public facing position and we are looking for someone who is personable, with a strong technical photographic background (digital camera backs, medium format cameras, technical cameras, etc.), is detail oriented, and has great organizational & communication skills.  We want a team oriented person who is willing to grow with our company.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Help Sales Team assistance when demonstrating hardware and software
  • Participate in Trade Show and Exhibitions (as needed)
  • Maintain cleanliness of the office
  • Other Duties as Assigned
  • Day to day digital camera equipment QC testing
  • Provide telephone and email support for “walk-in” clients in the following areas:
    • Capture One Technical Support
    • Digital Back Technical Support
    • Camera Support
    • Lighting Support
  • Develop and manage relationships with Digital Transitions Commercial and Cultural Heritage clients

Knowledge & Proficiency Requirements

  • Phase One Capture One Software
  • Phase One Digital Backs & Camera Systems
  • Mamiya Leaf Digital Backs
  • View Cameras
  • College Level Photographic skills or equivalent experience
  • Current Mac and Windows Operating Systems
  • Google Docs / Google Drive
  • MS Office

Job Type

  • Part time (20-25 hours)
  • Work in our New York Office
